Baia Mare Villas Terms and Conditions

  1. Agreement to Terms

    By booking a reservation, you agree that you are over the age of 25 and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your reservation.

  2. Booking Confirmation

    Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a signed rental agreement and payment of the total rental amount.

  3. Payment Schedule

    Payments are to be made by wire when reservation confirmation is sent.

  4. Cancellation Policy

    Guests can receive a full refund within 24 hours of booking. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund on the total of the booked nights. All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to reservations@baiamarevillas.com. Documentation may be required if exceptions to this cancellation policy are considered due to emergencies or extraordinary circumstances.

  5. Changes to Reservations

    Requests to change dates or guest numbers must be made in writing and are subject to availability. Changes may incur additional fees. Guests wishing to reschedule their stay may do so without penalty if within 24 hours of booking. Changes made after that time may be treated as a cancellation.

  6. Travel Insurance

    We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations or emergencies.

  7. COVID-19

    Cancellations due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for details.

  8. Security Deposit

    A security deposit of $300 is required at the time of check in and will be refunded within 10 days of check-out, provided there are no damages or excessive cleaning required.

  9. Check-In and Check-Out

    Check-in time is 3:00PM and check-out time is 11:00AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee.

  10. Guest Responsibilities

    Guests are responsible for keeping the property clean and undamaged during their stay. Any damages or missing items will be deducted from the security deposit. Guests must wear appropriate attire in common areas such as restaurants, lounges, and the pool. Guests must respect fellow guests, staff, and the environment, Aggressive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Parents or guardians must supervise children at all times, particularly in pool and other activity areas.

  11. Quiet Hours

    Quiet hours are observed from 10:00PM to 8:00AM. Guests must always respect the neighbors and maintain noise at a reasonable level.

  12. Pool

    The use of the pool facilities is at your own risk. Baia Mare is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur while using the pool or the pool area. Guests are advised to exercise caution and adhere to all posted safety guidelines and rules. By using the pool, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

  13. Pets and Smoking

    Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited inside the buildings.

  14. Technology Use

    Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, but misuse (e.g. illegal downloads) is prohibited.

  15. Maximum Occupancy

    The maximum number of guests allowed is specified in the rental agreement. Exceeding this limit may result in additional charges or eviction without refund. Overnight guests must be registered, and additional charges may apply.

  16. Liability

    Guests are responsible for any damages or losses incurred during their stay. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Guests must lock doors and secure valuables. Baia Mare and its staff responsible for damages, injuries, or losses resulting from activities coordinate on behalf of the guest.

  17. Force Majeure

    Baia Mare shall not be liable to perform its obligations if failure results from a cause beyond reasonable control. In the event of a force majeure, the renter shall be notified as soon as reasonably practicable.

  18. Local Laws and Regulations

    Guests must adhere to all local laws and regulations, including noise ordinances and community guidelines.

  19. Indemnification

    Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the property owner from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from their use of the property.

  20. Amendments

    The property owner reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any changes prior to their stay.

  21. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia.
